How Moradok Law came to be
Moradok Law was established in Bangkok to fill a gap that many families encounter at the most difficult of times — finding legal support that is not only knowledgeable but genuinely considerate of what the family is going through.
The word moradok (มรดก) means inheritance in Thai. It is a fitting name for a practice whose sole focus is helping individuals and families handle the legal aspects of estates with care, whether that means reviewing an estate for the first time, working through a will, or representing a family in a contested matter.
Based in Khlong San on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya, we work with Thai families, expatriates, and international clients who have estate interests in Thailand. English is spoken fluently throughout our office, and written summaries are always available in plain language.
Our approach has always been the same: listen first, advise carefully, and take action only when the family is ready and informed.
Our Mission
"To make inheritance law accessible, understandable, and as stress-free as possible for every family we assist."

How We Work
Professional standards we hold ourselves to
Thai Bar Membership
All solicitors at Moradok Law are admitted members of the Lawyers Council of Thailand, operating within the full scope of Thai legal requirements.
Strict Confidentiality
Client information and estate details are held under professional legal privilege and never shared outside the direct legal matter without consent.
Written Clarity
All advice and estate summaries are provided in plain written English or Thai. We do not rely on verbal communication alone for matters of this importance.
Regular Communication
Families should never have to wonder what is happening with their matter. We keep clients informed at every stage without waiting to be asked.
Data Protection
Personal data and estate records submitted to our office are stored securely in compliance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Impartial Assessment
We always give families an honest assessment of their situation before recommending a course of action, even if that means advising a simpler path forward.
Inheritance legal support in Bangkok and beyond
Moradok Law serves families across Bangkok and the wider Bangkok Metropolitan Region, including clients based abroad who have estate interests in Thailand. Thai inheritance law operates under the Civil and Commercial Code, which sets out a clear order of succession and a framework for how estates are managed, distributed, and — where necessary — contested.
Our practice covers three core areas: reviewing an estate and preparing a plain-language overview for the family; advising on wills and the succession process; and representing families in estate disputes where a disagreement has arisen. Each service is conducted with the same care and is tailored to the circumstances of the individual family.
We are particularly experienced in supporting international families where one or more members are based outside Thailand, and in cases where the estate involves both Thai and non-Thai assets. If you are unsure whether we are the right fit for your situation, please contact us — we are happy to have an initial conversation before any service is engaged.
